Peruvian onion shipments reach US$ 29.5 million in the first half of the year

Between January and June of this year, Peru exported 78,949,233 kilos of fresh onions with a FOB value of US$ 29,595,285, according to a report by the consulting firm Agrodata. According to this source, the main destination for these shipments was the United States, where placements reached US$ 9,259,414 (31% of total Peruvian exports).
