In July, three additional crops, bananas, yams, and yerba mate, were included in Brazil's Price Guarantee Program for Family Farming (PGPAF) under the National Program for Strengthening Family Farming (Pronaf). This program provides bonus discounts on financing for crops whose received prices were below the set guarantee. The program's standards were adjusted, and the list of benefiting states for some crops was changed. Meanwhile, beans, sunflowers, and mangoes are no longer receiving the bonus as market prices have recovered. The ordinance, which details the product guarantee prices and bonus percentages, is published by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Family Agriculture.
