The import of frozen strawberries has reached a record level – Poland imported over 62,000 tons from a single country. This is a clear signal of a change in the market structure and growing dependence on external supplies. The share of imports in the market is growing dynamically, and one supplier already accounts for over 70% of the total volume. This concentration increases the risk for the domestic sector. Polish producers have come under cost and weather pressure, which has limited the supply of raw materials.
