The article highlights the challenges faced by Thai dairy farmers due to increased production costs, inflation, and disease, which have led to a decrease in milk production and forced many farmers to abandon the profession. Factors such as rising costs of concentrate and roughage, and diseases like foot-and-mouth and mastitis, have further increased the crisis. Despite these challenges, there are efforts to support and provide solutions, including the use of technology for efficient farming and artificial insemination to reduce costs and improve success rates. However, the high cost of subscription services for these technologies poses a challenge for farmers. The article emphasizes the importance of adopting precise dairy farming techniques and the potential benefits of technology in reducing costs and improving efficiency and productivity.
