Tenders, subsidies and exports of Hungary for its animal husbandry

The amount of the tender announced last year to support the development of livestock farms was increased from HUF 50 billion to HUF 260 billion. The support awarded so far is more than HUF 282.5 billion nationwide, which the state contributed to the development of 568 poultry, pig, cattle and sheep and goat farms. In addition, other livestock keepers keeping horses, bees, chinchillas, pheasants, rabbits, ostriches, donkeys and quails can modernize their farms from a total of HUF 5.65 billion on the basis of 52 applications. With the help of the subsidies, nearly 40,000 places will be established or modernized in the cattle sector, a total of 400,000 square meters of stables and other structures will be established or renovated.
