The Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Commission (PromPerú) reported that it generated 232.9 million dollars in trade opportunities during the first quarter of 2026 as a result of its international promotion strategy in key sectors such as agribusiness, fisheries, knowledge-based services, and clothing and decoration. The entity detailed that the agribusiness sector reached 99 million dollars with the participation of companies from various regions of the country, whose offer included fresh fruits, cocoa and derivatives, coffee, superfoods, and natural ingredients. These results were boosted by the Peruvian presence in international trade shows and trade missions in Europe and Asia, with high participation from micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
