By order of the Russian government, a permanent border checkpoint for cargo will be established in the seaport of the temporarily occupied Berdyansk. This is reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNR). The Russian authorities aim to strengthen the financing of their own economy and military machine through the use of Ukrainian infrastructure, selling stolen grain from Ukraine. The process is overseen by the director of the enterprise, Vladimir Stelmakhenko, who voluntarily cooperates with the occupying authorities and has organized a scheme for transporting Ukrainian grain to Russia. Port workers who have not yet left the temporarily occupied Berdyansk are forced to go to work under duress.
