In 2025, the total income of Ukraine's ten most influential grain traders amounted to about 180 billion UAH. This is 38.8 billion UAH less than recorded the previous year. Alongside the reduction in turnover, there is also a significant deterioration in financial indicators: six companies from the top ten completed the year at a loss. The most noticeable drop in income was observed in large international companies. ADM Ukraine lost 13.7 billion UAH in turnover, Cargill lost 11.5 billion UAH, CFG Trading lost about 6 billion UAH, Bunge lost over 5 billion UAH, and Louis Dreyfus Company Ukraine lost 4.2 billion UAH. The main factor for the decline was the reduction in the physical volume of exports. If in the 2024/2025 season Ukraine sent about 40.6 million tons of grain to foreign markets, then in the 2025/2026 marketing year this figure decreased by 20–25%, that is, by 6–7 million tons.
