Review of China’s canned fruit exports in 2023

Export overview ​ In 2023, China's canned fruit exports totaled 573,700 tons, with a total value of US$787 million. Compared with the same period last year, the quantity decreased by 10% and the value decreased by 11%. ​ Among them, in December 2023, China exported 54,500 tons of canned fruits, with a value of US$71.52 million. Compared with the same period last year, the quantity increased by 1%, and the value decreased by 8%. ​ Export varieties ​ China's main export varieties of canned fruits include canned oranges, canned peaches, canned pears, canned lychees, canned pineapples, canned cherries, canned longans and canned assorted fruits, etc. ​ In 2023, China's canned orange exports will be 235,000 tons, accounting for 41% of the total canned fruit exports; China's canned peach exports will be 152,500 tons, accounting for 27% of the total canned fruit exports; China's canned pear exports will be 48,100 tons, accounting for 48,100 tons of canned fruit exports. 8% of ...
