The Road Fluidity Operation, a new initiative aimed at enhancing the free movement of agro-pastoral and fishery products, particularly Tabaski sheep, was recently launched in Senegal. This project, spearheaded by the West African Association for Cross-Border Trade in Food, Agro-Sylvo-Pastoral and Fisheries Products (AOCTAH) in collaboration with the Permanent Inter-State Committee for the Fight Against Drought in Sahel (CILSS), is part of the FARM-TRAC project funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and is being implemented across nearly ten countries in the CILSS/ECOWAS region.
