Rondônia is experiencing a standout moment in Brazilian agribusiness. According to Conab, the state recorded the highest percentage growth in grain production between the 2023/24 and 2024/25 harvests, with an increase of 29.4%, rising from 4.1 to 5.3 million tons. The national average was 14%. In soybeans alone, around 687,000 hectares were cultivated in 2025. This advance consolidated Rondônia as one of the largest productive powers in the Northern Region, with Vilhena establishing itself as a strategic hub for the adoption of new technologies in the field.
