The Manufacturers Association of Trader and exporter of chicken eggs in Thailand has reported a decrease in egg prices for farmers, while the cost of feed raw materials has increased due to adverse weather conditions in major producing countries. The Association of Chicken Egg Manufacturers, Traders and Exporters has announced a drop in egg price from 2.90 baht per bubble to 2.70 baht, and farmers are selling at 2.40 baht per bubble. The high purchase volume, especially from China, has led to a rise in selling prices. The government is called upon to continue the PS Support activity to export excess chicken eggs and to request farmers to release old hens to stand cage to prevent losses in the industry.
