The article highlights the initiation of saffron bulb planting in the Safran Garden with Lavender Fragrance, located in the Gayza Village of Safranbolu, by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. The saffron, known for its cell renewal and body resistance properties, is expected to be sold for a significant amount per kilo and will be planted across different villages, with the aim to boost production and tourism. The project, spread over 15 decares, is part of a larger initiative to present saffron as a key agricultural product of Karabük and Safranbolu, with plans to expand the planting area and involve more farmers.
