A new buffalo breeding facility, built with a 50 percent grant from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and located in Sakarya, has been completed and launched with an attendance of key officials and guests. The facility, capable of accommodating 500 buffaloes, currently houses 160, and is expected to play a significant role in increasing Turkey's milk production, particularly for the production of mozzarella cheese. The city's mayor emphasized the potential for self-sufficiency in this product and the contributions of local breeders.
