South Korea's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock and Food reported a 13.7% year-on-year increase in the cumulative export value of agricultural and sideline products in the first quarter, reaching a record high of US$1.981 billion. This includes a 9.3% increase in fresh agricultural product exports, with kimchi, grape exports seeing significant growth. Processed food exports, which include instant noodles and beverages, also surged by 14.7%. There was double-digit growth in exports to ASEAN, India, and other new southern policy partners, with China and the United States being the largest markets.
