The Department of Rural Economy (Deral), linked to the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply of Paraná, released its monthly report for August estimating that the state's soybean production in the 2025/26 crop should reach 22.048 million tons, an increase of 4% compared to the 21.153 million tons produced in the previous crop (2024/25). According to information released by Safras & Mercado, the planted area is expected to reach 5.798 million hectares, slightly above the 5.763 million hectares of the past crop. The average productivity is estimated at 3,803 kilograms per hectare, an increase from the 3,670 kilograms per hectare recorded in the 2024/25 crop.
