Spain asks the European Commission for more fishing days in the Mediterranean

Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Luis Planas assured this Monday that the European Commission must "take note" of the effort made by the Spanish fishing fleet in the Mediterranean to improve the situation of fish populations, and he expressed confidence that in 2026 the number of fishing days in those waters will increase.
