Spain invoices € 248 million more for its wine exports, until September

The month of September 2021 was, according to the Spanish Observatory of the Wine Market, the best September in the historical series in terms of value, and the fifth best September in terms of volume. It registered growth of + 12.5% in value and 19.6% in volume, to 260.1 million euros and 197.4 million liters. In absolute terms, 32.4 million more liters were exported and 28.9 million euros more were billed than in September 2020. These positive data, together with those registered in previous months, increase the growth of our foreign sales of wine, in the first nine months of 2021, 13.3% in value, up to 2,104.7 million euros and + 20.2% in volume, up to 1,748.7 million liters. In other words, in these first three quarters of 2021, Spain has exported an additional 293.6 million liters, billing an additional 247.6 million euros.
