Spanish table grape exports fall 9% in volume and 2% in value in 2024

Spanish table grape exports in 2024 stood at 167,245 tonnes with a value of 448 million euros, representing a year-on-year decline of 9% in volume and 2% in value. The Murcia Region was the main origin, with 60% of the total, and Germany the main destination, with 30% of exports. Next week, on June 4 and 5, the annual meeting of the table grape contact group of France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain will take place in Ferreira do Alentejo, Beja (Portugal). Representatives from FEPEX and the integrated association APOEXPA will participate, review the 2024 campaign, and share some information about this year's campaign in the countries that make up this group. The table grape group was one of the last contact groups established within the Mixed Committee of France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
