Farmers raising livestock across the country are facing a crisis of rising feed costs, particularly during the dry season when fresh grass is scarce, leading to malnutrition in animals, poor health, and a continuous decline in productivity. In light of this situation, the Animal Feed Development Office, Department of Livestock Development, is accelerating the study, research, and development of feed technologies suitable for each region, covering everything from planting feed crops, field management, production, storage, to continuous knowledge transfer to farmers, and developing a model for transferring technology from animal feed research and development centers to demonstration and expansion so that farmers can apply it practically in their own areas.
