Poland is the fifth largest producer of pumpkins in the European Union, with a production of 68.5 thousand tonnes in 2019, marking a 3% decrease from the previous year. However, the area dedicated to pumpkin cultivation in Poland has seen a 6.5% increase to 1.8 thousand hectares in 2019. The country's pumpkin exports, a small portion of the global market, are distributed to Germany, Belgium, and Slovakia.
