Poland: The beginning of the year with a slight rebound in cattle purchase price lists

The end of last year surprised beef cattle producers with unexpected discounts. The beginning of the new year brings a slight rebound in most categories. Check current cattle purchase prices In the first week of this year in the surveyed plants, the purchase price of bulls in class R amounted to a maximum of PLN 23.10/kg (average PLN 21.57/kg), while in class O the top rate is PLN 22.10/kg (average PLN 20.95/kg). Prices of bulls bought live weight reach PLN 13.00/kg (PLN 12.15 on average). Prices offered for heifers in post-slaughter settlement in class R are currently at PLN 23.00/kg (average PLN 21.98/kg), and in class O PLN 22.00/kg (average PLN 21.17/kg).
