The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, led by María González Corral, has announced aid for the green harvesting of vineyards in the Community, for this year's harvest, with an initial budget of 500,000 euros. The objective is to avoid a market crisis and restore the balance of supply and demand in the wine market. The beneficiaries of these subsidies will be SMEs and individuals who carry out wine-growing activities and whose vineyards are intended to produce grapes for vinification; comply with the current regulations on vineyard plantings in all specific areas of exploitation and be registered in the viticultural section of the Register of Beneficiary Farms of Castilla y León.
