The Code of Administrative Offenses has been proposed to be supplemented with a separate article regarding violations in the issuance of veterinary documents.
The Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (KoAP RF) proposes to add a separate article that will single out as an independent offense the violations related to the issuance of veterinary accompanying documents and the movement of controlled goods without them. The draft of the relevant amendments was developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. The document is posted on the federal portal of draft normative legal acts. The document proposes to supplement the code with Article 10.8.2 "Violation of the rules for organizing the issuance of veterinary accompanying documents." It introduces administrative liability for both violations in the organization of issuing VSDs and for their absence in cases where the issuance of such documents is mandatory. According to the draft, officials are proposed to be fined from 5,000 to 15,000 rubles for violating the rules for organizing the issuance of VSDs, and legal entities from 40,000 to 80,000 rubles.
