Beekeepers in Erdemli district, Mersin, Turkey, have completed the first honey and pollen harvest of the year, signaling a promising product season. The region's honey and pollen, which are in high demand during the pandemic due to their immune-boosting properties, are also being sold online as part of a digital transformation project. The Mersin Beekeepers Association, with around 4,000 members from throughout the province, believes that the demand for sandalwood honey, known for its digestive benefits, will increase.
