Engineer Mustafa Al-Sayyad, Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Livestock, Fish and Poultry, announced the allocation of 139.348 million pounds to 95 small breeders and young graduates for raising 900 heads of livestock under the National Veal Project, part of the 'A Decent Life' initiative. This project, led by Minister Al-Quseir, aims to improve the Egyptian countryside and support small farmers. To date, it has funded over 8.711 billion pounds for 43,600 beneficiaries, raising more than 506,000 heads of livestock. The Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Agricultural Bank of Egypt and a private sector company, is also providing high-productivity dairy cattle breeds with concessional financing and comprehensive support, with field follow-ups and inspections to ensure proper implementation.
