Africa is a major export destination for Dutch onions, receiving 52% of the total exports in the previous season. The top ten export destinations for Dutch onions include six African countries, with Ivory Coast and Senegal being the most significant. Overall, Dutch onions were exported to 129 countries, but 65.8% of the export volume was concentrated in just ten destinations.
