The Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality in Turkey is launching a project to revive buffalo breeding, which is on the verge of extinction in Sakarya. The project, which involves setting up a modern buffalo farm in Adapazarı, aims to produce high-quality buffalo milk for making products like mozzarella cheese, buffalo cream, and yoghurt. The municipality also plans to provide training to those interested in modern buffalo breeding and sell the breeding heifers to breeders. The project is part of a larger initiative to facilitate and provide maximum benefit to producers, positioning Sakarya as a pioneer in this business.
