The Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine reports that average milk prices in the EU have surged, with November prices being 15% higher than June and 14% higher than January 2024. Compared to November 2023, prices have increased by 16.5% on average across the EU, with notable increases in Belgium (34%) and the Netherlands (30%). The Netherlands had the highest prices in November, exceeding €55 per 100 kg. Poland experienced a significant increase of nearly €7/100 kg (+15%) in November, with its prices only 0.6% below the EU average. Experts forecast that these rising prices will continue into December, with expectations of the average price surpassing €54/100 kg.
