The price level for raw milk in EU countries

This is reported by the expert-analytical service of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine. November prices exceeded: by 15% the June figure, by 14% - January-2024; by 16.5% — the figure for November 2023. If in the first half of 2024 the prices were lower than last year, then in the second half the prices are significantly higher than last year: in September +14.5%; in October +16.7%; in November +16.5%. The last time the EU average prices exceeded €53/100 kg was in February 2023, i.e. more than 20 months ago. In November 2024, compared to the level of November 2023, prices increased: — on average for EU countries — by 16.5%; — in Belgium by 34%; — in the Netherlands — by 30%; — in Germany — by 20%; — in Poland — by 10%; — in France — by 8%. Among the main producers of raw milk in the EU, the highest level of prices in November was recorded in the Netherlands - over €55.
