The remontant raspberry season in Central Asia is starting to gain momentum - prices are not rising

The raspberry season in the EastFruit project countries has almost completed the transition from summer to remontant varieties, but prices for this berry continue to disappoint farmers almost everywhere. Even before the start of the current season, it was clear that there would be a price collapse in the raspberry market, and by the end of June the situation reached its climax, including a price drop to below half a dollar per kg, calls for a boycott of processors and demands for import bans.
