The Entre Ríos Grain Exchange has reported a significant decrease in the condition of sunflower crops in the province due to high temperatures and low rainfall. Despite being drought-resistant, the crops have been negatively impacted, with a 12% drop in the qualified area in good to very good condition in the last three weeks and a 24% decrease compared to the same period last year. The current condition of the crops is 4% very good, 72% good, and 24% regular. The regular condition includes plants with little development, small heads, and damage from thermal stress and wind.
