The Wanju Cultural Foundation receives the Minister's Award from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for contributing to the improvement of the quality of life for farmers and fishermen.

The Wanju Cultural Foundation (President Yoo Hee-tae) received the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award at the '2025 Policy Conference on Improving the Quality of Life for Farmers and Fishermen' held at the Korea Press Center on the 11th. This award is given to institutions, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to improving the quality of life for farmers and fishermen. This year, 17 teams were selected from six areas: culture, tourism, education and welfare, and daily life. The Wanju Cultural Foundation was recognized in the 'Agriculture and Fisheries Villages with Diverse Cultures: Culture' category.
