The German publication agrarheute has released predictions for 2024 corn yields in Europe, with variations in yield depending on the region. The article, which cites data from the German Maize Committee (DMK), anticipates higher yield per hectare in western Europe, but significantly lower yields in the south and east due to extended droughts. Ukraine's corn yield is also expected to decrease compared to the previous year. Specifically, Ukraine harvested 18.3 million tons from 76% of its corn area, with a yield of 6.1 tons/ha, a decrease from last year's 7.8 tons/ha.
