Trout cages set up at Uludere Dam in Şırnak, Turkey

Within the scope of the "Development of Sustainable Trout Breeding Project" supported by the Dicle Development Agency (DIKA) in cooperation with Şırnak University (ŞÜ), Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, 3 trout cages with a diameter of 16 meters were installed in Uludere Dam. Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Selman Demirel said in a statement to reporters that the project, which was implemented to encourage fisheries in the 5 dams and Ilısu Dam established in Uludere district, was carried out in partnership with the university.
