Turkey's table olive exports saw a significant increase in the 2021-2022 season, with a 24% rise to a record 110 thousand tons, generating a revenue of $173 million, a 15% increase from the previous season. The country also experienced a 19% increase in black olive exports to 80,000 tons, contributing $125 million to the revenue, and a 35% increase in green olive exports to 30,000 tons, bringing in $48 million. Olive oil exports also surged, with a 28% increase to 52,000 tons and revenue growing by 44% to $180 million. The Association of Olives and Olive Oil of the Aegean Region is aiming to further increase revenue to $500 million in the next season.
