Turmeric harvested in Muğla, Turkey made its producer smile

Turmeric, which is used in the food and pharmaceutical industry, was harvested in Milas, Muğla. Turmeric, whose rhizomes were brought together with the soil, was harvested in March within the scope of the work carried out to improve the cultivation of vegetables with high added value within the scope of the Projects for Enabling the Use of Agricultural Lands supported by the General Directorate of Plant Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. In Dörttepe Mahallesi, the producer Adnan Akar was given turmeric rhizomes within the scope of the project. The turmeric rhizomes were brought together with the soil in the pots at the Immu-Nat Farm. Barış Saylak, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, participated in the turmeric harvest and gathered products with the producer Adnan Akar.
