He added that to choose a basic herbicide protection, it is necessary to take into account the type of weed infestation of a specific field, the previous crop, which can be a source of black-grass, the mechanical composition of the soil and its humus content, the moisture level, and the temperature conditions at the time of spraying. To control the most common weeds in sunflower, corn, as well as soybean, sorghum, and potato crops, Oleksandr recommends choosing the herbicide Varyag (metolachlor, 315 g/l + terbuthylazine, 190 g/l).
