Indonesian palm oil exports have reached a 12-year low of 25.0 million tons for the 2021/22 marketing year, a decrease of 3.0 million tons, due to a slow export pace and regulations imposed by the Indonesian government. In contrast, Kazakhstan's soybean and soybean oil production is expected to surpass 200,000 tons for the tenth year in a row, with about 10-20 percent of production being exported primarily to Uzbekistan, China, and Sweden. Soymbean production is projected to play a significant role in the global oilseed market, which is expected to see an 8% increase in production and a 3% increase in consumption in 2022/23, largely driven by China's demand for soybeans.
