The article reports on the 7th International Muğla Beekeeping and Pine Honey Congress, where Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ebubekir Secretgider, highlighted the diversity of registered honeys in Turkey, including those unique to the region like Mugla's Pine Honey. The congress aimed to simplify agricultural supports and regulate contract agriculture and animal husbandry to protect producers and buyers. Muğla's Agriculture and Forestry Provincial Director, Barış Saylak, was acknowledged for his efforts in supporting beekeepers and implementing the Muğla Apitherapeutic Products R&D and Innovation Center Project. It was noted that Turkey has a high number of hives per square kilometer and a significant increase in honey yield over the past decade, emphasizing the importance of education in beekeeping.
