Wednesday's pide has passed the geographical indication inspection.

One of the standout delicacies of Black Sea cuisine, Çarşamba pidesi, continues to be protected by geographical indication certification. Registered by the Çarşamba Trade Exchange under the Industrial Property Law No. 6769 in 2018, the inspection process for this special product for the year 2026 has also been completed. As part of the inspection activities, businesses producing the geographically indicated product were examined on site. The production processes, materials used, and compliance of the products with specifications were checked in detail.
