According to analysis by TF Agroeconômica, wheat is a crop that always offers a margin of profit to the producer, but rarely at the time of harvest. The study points out that the cereal still does not receive in Brazil the same agronomic care given to soybeans, which results in lower productivity and quality. There is a lack of standardization of planting, use of certified seeds, and proper segregation after harvest. This cycle of low quality leads to lower prices, reducing the incentive to invest in the crop. The consultancy highlights that a change in this scenario should start with the valorization of the price, considered the main input of any crop.
