Before the cessation of payments, Vicentin was the absolute leader in Argentine exports of oilseed products, while Viterra (formerly Oleaginosa Moreno Hnos) occupied the third place in the ranking and was a partner of Vicentin in Renova. When Vicentin enters a very conflicting creditors' contest in 2020, which extends much longer than expected, it must resort to grinding services to generate resources that allow paying salaries and maintenance costs.
