The botanical name for cocoa beans is Theobroma cocoa. Cocoa beans or simply cocoa are the Dried and fully fermented fatty seed of the cocoa tree from which cocoa solids or cocoa butter is extracted. This is the major ingredient for chocolate. Nigeria is a major producer and exporter of cocoa and has a production capacity of 270,000 MT/Annum (ICCO 2018/2019). Kolanut
Kola Nut is predominantly native to the tropical rain forests of Africa. It has a high caffeine content and locally in places like Nigeria it is popularly chewed as a stimulant. It is also commonly used in the manufacture of food and beverages such as cola drinks due to its caffeine content and as a flavoring ingredient. Kolanut has been listed by the United States FDA as generally safe for consumption. Kolanut extract is classified as a natural food flavoring and as an inactive ingredient in certain pharmaceuticals.
Bitter Kola
Bitter Kola is also known as Garcinia Kola. It is largely cultivated in the Western and Eastern regions of Nigeria. Although harvested between March and November, it is available for sale all year round due to the fact that Nigeria is a major producer and it experiences very good quality and quantity yields which are stockpiled in storage. Bitter Kola is popular in the production of pharmaceuticals and beverages such as energy drinks. We export to Europe, Asia and North America. Our preferred minimum order quantity is 500kg but we are open to discuss your quantity request. Transportation is by air freight to preserve quality.
