Cookia, founded in August 2011 as a enterprise under the name Cookia Academy, specializes in educational initiatives as a cooking class provider.
In 2016, a state-of-the-art tofu snack manufacturing facility was established in Sora-myeon, Yeosu City. Achieving HACCP certification in April 2016, Cookia went on to attain SQF Level 2 certification from the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) in October 2019, followed by SQF Level 3 certification in September 2022.
Furthering its commitment to innovation, Cookia secured patents in March 2018 for the 'Tofu Snack Manufacturing Method' and in August 2018 for 'Manufacturing Tofu Snacks Using Fermented Sprouted Grains.'
Since 2017, Cookia has been proudly featured in major domestic retailers such as Costco, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, GS Home Shopping, Lotte Big Market, and others. Expanding its footprint, Cookia successfully entered international markets including Australia, China, the United States, and Japan in 2019.
Anticipating future growth, Cookia inaugurated a new automated facility in Yulchon-myeon, Yeosu City, in May 2023. This state-of-the-art facility, four times larger than the existing one, has the capacity to produce up to 50,000 units per day.
Operating six distinct tofu snack products, Cookia collaborates with prominent distributors such as Pulmuone, Costco, and Olive Young to supply OEM products.
