Origin: All our honey is produced in NZ. It is 100% NZ honey. NZ law prohibits the importation of foreign honey, so honey exported directly from NZ is guaranteed to only be 100% of NZ origin, it can not be diluted with cheaper foreign honey.
Additionally, only NZ has a regulated government standard that must be met for all manuka honey exports. We are audited twice a year by government-approved auditors to make sure we are adhering to NZ's government strict export requirements.
Accreditation:
We operate a government-registered food safety Risk Management Program based on HACCP principles. We are audited twice a year by government-approved inspectors. We are registered for export to the EU and all our honey can be exported anywhere in the world with necessary NZ government documentation. (Health/Sanitary/Export Certificates.)
Laboratory Analysis: All our honey is tested at independent, government-approved laboratories to verify it's purity and various quality parameters. We provide many independent laboratory tests relating to the honey's chemical structure free of charge.
There is a whole suite of microbiological, heavy metal and pesticide residue tests we can perform, but you will need to tell us what tests you require for your market. Some requested laboratory tests will be charged at the cost if required. We may agree on tests and parameters that must be met for each batch in a supply agreement.
