The Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (FecoAgro/RS) presented its 2025 balance and the outlook for 2026 in the sector. According to the entity's president, Paulo Pires, the year was marked by drought, losses in crops such as corn and soybeans, a drop in income in the countryside, and difficulties in accessing official credit. The entity also projects that the next summer crop may represent a partial relief for the producer, if the climatic conditions remain favorable.
