In Çorum, Turkey's Oğuzlar district has successfully harvested approximately 27,000 tons of walnuts, contributing to 8 percent of the nation's total walnut production. Despite hail damage in some regions, the quality of the harvested walnuts was high. The walnuts are renowned for their unique characteristics and are demanded both locally and internationally. The harvest, which involved significant labor, saw no major issues and saw some walnuts being presented to consumers while others were stored. The Oguz Walnut Producers Agricultural Union is supporting farmers affected by the hail with fertilizers.
