Certified seeds will be distributed to farmers in villages after harvest. An important achievement has been made in agricultural research and development in Sivas. As a result of long-term plant breeding studies conducted at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Sivas Science and Technology University (SSTU), four new bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) varieties with high adaptability to the agroecological conditions specific to the Sivas region have been developed and registered.
