A new mini-factory for quick-freezing berries has been opened in Ukraine

In the village of Ozhenyन, Rivne region, a new mini-factory for quick-freezing berries has begun operations. Its opening was made possible through the Ukrainian-Swiss Organic Trade for Development (OT4D) project. The enterprise is located on the territory of a former fruit canning plant that had long been abandoned. As reported by AgroReview According to the Rivne Regional Military Administration, the factory will be able to process up to 140 tons of berry products annually, grown in accordance with high environmental standards. This will not only contribute to the development of organic production but also provide the local community with additional tax revenues and the creation of 20 new jobs. In the future, plans are to increase production capacity to over 1,000 tons of berries per year.
