Journalists Èlia Borràs, Laura Aragó, and Xavier Aldekoa, from the magazine 5W, have won the seventh edition of the EIT Food Journalism Award in Agro-Food Innovation and Sustainability. Second place went to Isabel Rubio from El País, and the third prize was awarded to Laura G. de Rivera for a work published in the SINC Agency. The winners received three cash prizes --2,000 euros for the winning work, 1,500 euros for the second, and 750 euros for the third-- in a ceremony held this Thursday at the Madrid Press Association. The 2025 edition has set a record for participants, with 95 applications from specialized and general media, both print and digital, radio and television, and also podcasts. In addition, seven other journalists have been recognized with diplomas for the quality of their work, which were finalists.
